A note from Walnut Run Farm:
Thank you for your interest in The Bakery at Walnut Run Farm. We operate a small on-farm bakery simply by our own family with the help of a few girls in our neighborhood. We hold high, uncompromised standards for our specialty products, using organic ingredients and heritage grains. Our goal is to produce the healthiest baked goods on the market while maintaining a memorable taste.
Flour
The flours we use (einkorn and sprouted spelt) in our baked goods are often tolerated by people who are said to be gluten intolerant. There are reports of some very sensitive people being able to tolerate these flours. This is largely due to the fact that these flours are not chemically grown, they are GMO-free, and they’re not processed and hybridized like many of today’s conventional flours.
